The Earth Is Green
Fadwa Attia (Egypt)
The earth is green
That's my tree, I love it, that green plant, I sit on it
And draw memories of when I draw on the ground among flowers and trees
Take refuge in the isolation of stunning nature.
I breathe the nectar of the flowers,
I hear the chirps of the birds,
What a blessing the fresh breezes are!
That is my land, preserve it.
The moments of the cool breeze revive me as water revives the crops.
These are my Lord’s blessings upon water, air, crops, trees, and roses.
O my Almighty, increase these blessings upon us.

পৃথিবী সবুজ
ওটা আমার গাছ, আমি এটাকে ভালোবাসি, সেই সবুজ গাছটা, আমি তাতে বসে থাকি
এবং তার স্মৃতি আঁকি যখন আমি ফুল এবং গাছের মধ্যে মাটিতে আঁকি
আশ্রয় অত্যাশ্চর্য প্রকৃতির বিচ্ছিন্নতায়
ফুলের অমৃত নিঃশ্বাস নিই আমি,
শুনি পাখির কিচিরমিচির, কী আশীর্বাদ তাজা মৃদুমন্দ বাতাস!
সে আমার ভূমি, রক্ষা কর এটি।
শীতল বাতাসের মুহূর্তগুলি আমাকে পুনরুজ্জীবিত করে যেমন জল ফসলকে করে পুনরুজ্জীবিত।
পানি, বাতাস, ফসল, গাছ ও গোলাপের উপর এগুলো আমার প্রভুর অনুগ্রহ।
হে আমার সর্বশক্তিমান, বাড়িয়ে দিন আমাদের উপর এই আশীর্বাদ।

About the Poetess:
Fadwa Attia Mohamed Aly Salah Eldin is an interior designer, a visual artist, painter, photographer, poet, critic, member of the Syndicate of Applied Arts Designers, working member of the Cairo Atelier for Writers and Artists, and winner of the Creative Woman Award in 2019 from the Ministry of Culture and won the Jury Award at the Seventh Nile Salon. Then she won the second republic in theatrical decoration at the level of the General Federation of Young Workers in 2002. She participated in previous sessions of the General Exhibition, the Fifth Republic from the Ministry of Information, the People's Arts Exhibition and the Eighth Port Said Biennale. She received honors from Morocco twice, Algeria once and Tunisia once. She has 9 solo exhibitions of her own.she was responsible for Fadwa Attia’s Art and Life Initiative for Free to Allah
