Nests of Birds

Yang Geum-Hee (South Korea)

Birds do not build their homes

For themselves, 

But for their young ones

They build nests in bushes or tree holes

And share warmth with each other.

 

With that strength,

They become the wind,

They become the clouds,

To open their way to the sky.

 

Knowing their destiny is to fly high,

Birds do not build nests to stay.

পাখির বাসা 

ইয়াং জিউম-হী (দক্ষিণ কোরিয়া)

অনুবাদ: মোঃ ইজাজ আহামেদ (ভারত)

 পাখিরা তাদের ঘর করে না তৈরি

 নিজেদের জন্য, 

 কিন্তু তাদের ছোটদের জন্য

 তারা ঝোপে বা গাছের গর্তে বাসা করে তৈরি

 এবং উষ্ণতা ভাগ করে একে অপরের সাথে।

 সেই শক্তিতে,

 তারা বাতাস হয়ে ওঠে,

 তারা মেঘ হয়ে যায়,

 আকাশে তাদের পথ খোলার জন্য।

 তাদের ভাগ্য জেনে উঁচুতে উড়তে হয়,

 পাখিরা বাসা বানায় না থাকার জন্য।
