Poem - As If I See My Grave, Poet - Md Mazharul Abedin
As If I See My Grave
Md Mazharul Abedin
As if I see my grave
And I sleep inside it
I am alone buried here
In the mute and dumb pit.
There is no candle
Darkness of fear does prevail
I cry there with a loud voice
Shout for help to avail.
As if I am in the dark cell
Of a permanent jail
Nobody comes forward
To sign for my bail.
As if my family members
Stand beside the grave,
They talk in a low voice
They are not so brave.
They do not hear my cry
Watch deeply my grave,
Where I am deserted by them
Nobody stands by me to save.
