Four English Nonets of poet Imdadul Islam
Four English Nonets of poet Imdadul Islam
1. To meet the Lord!
Moments are passing in their own way,
The times ahead us are not known,
Wherefore they can go astray.
We may not reach next dawn,
If summons come fast
To meet the Lord!
Keep gallant
Your mind
Friend.
_____
2. In my lorn life!
I want your brisk touch in my lorn life,
Keenly want you as the best pal!
I know, you're free from strife.
Sobriety makes you a doll.
Stone, pliancy makes.
Want your rebuff,
Want a glance
With nuff
Love!
_____
3. The giant power
From the too beginning of this world
Giants reign over the frail ones.
Yes, giant brawns of the world!
If they're chased, make ill-bonds.
But the true people
Taste victory.
Woe? Idle...
Don't worry
More.
______
4. Relief
The welkin has brought rains to allay
Extreme woe of scorching summer.
The torrid times fluff to stay
And disturb everywhere.
Drizzling rain, give sense
Why my heart thrills!
Your presence
Makes lives
Dance!
