গোপন সুতোর টানে নাচে, যত জনম-ভুই।
ভবের মেলা ভেঙে গেলে, সবই ধূলোয় মিশে,
শূন্য মুঠি ফেরে শেষে, যেমন এলে তুই।

Silver rivers run past cities of gold,
On hidden strings life’s dancers are controlled.
When life’s great fair dissolves to dust,
Empty hands return, as when we first strolled.
