🌹RESPECT🌹

A silent pause, a gentle ear,
A truth held sacred, close and dear.
It isn't just a word we say,
But a choice we make in how we play.
To see the person, not the guise,
Reflected deep in open eyes.
To understand their spoken thought,
The simple lesson we've been taught.
It's in the grace before we act,
A kindness born from a solemn pact.
A bridge of empathy we build,
On hallowed ground, with hearts fulfilled.
For dignity, a rightful claim,
We find ourselves in another’s name.
And in this simple, quiet grace,
We leave the world a better place.
It's a reflection, clear and true,
Of the respect I give to you.
A mutual thread that binds us fast,
A kindness that is meant to last.
