RAIN
Zahro Shamsiyya (Uzbekistan)
Rain,
You may rain,
Wash this dirty world,
Wash the street of hatred,
Street of envy,
And the evil of our souls.
You may rain,
Let the earth be clear,
Let the tulips blossom in the embrace of hatred,
Never let children to cry in pain,
And wash the hands of ugliness,
Wash the throat of those whose tongue is poisonous,
Rain!!!
Expel the odds to the middle of nowhere,
So that they understand who they are.
May the world be beautiful,
May it be full of fragrance.
May stars never fade in the sky,
Rain,
Come with hope in every drop,
Actually, peace is the greatest joy.
Rain,
Oh, my rain,
Rain nonstop.

বৃষ্টি,
তুমি বৃষ্টি হতে পারো,
এই নোংরা পৃথিবী ধুয়ে ফেলো,
ধুয়ে ফেলো ঘৃণার রাস্তা
হিংসার রাস্তা,
এবং আমাদের আত্মার মন্দ।
তুমি বৃষ্টি হতে পারো,
পৃথিবী পরিষ্কার হোক,
ঘৃণার আলিঙ্গনে টিউলিপ ফুটুক,
শিশুদের কাঁদতে দেবে না কষ্টে,
এবং কুৎসিত হাত ফেলো ধুয়ে
যাদের জিহ্বা বিষাক্ত তাদের গলা দাও ধুয়ে,
বৃষ্টি!!!
মতভেদ কোথাও মাঝখানে দাও সরিয়ে ,
যাতে তারা বুঝতে পারে তারা কারা।
পৃথিবী সুন্দর হোক,
সুগন্ধে পূর্ণ হোক।
আকাশে তারা যেন বিবর্ণ না হয় কখনো,
বৃষ্টি,
প্রতিটি ফোঁটায় আশা নিয়ে এসো,
আসলে শান্তিই সবচেয়ে বড় আনন্দ।
বৃষ্টি,
ওহ, আমার বৃষ্টি,
অবিরাম বৃষ্টি।

Sharipova Zuhro Sunnatovna (Zahro Shamsiyya) was born on April 9, 1969 in Nurota district, Navoi region of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Her first poem was published in Gulkhan magazine in 1987. Over the years, her poems have been widely published in prestigious newspapers, magazines, anthologies and almanacs in different countries of the world.
Her poems have been translated into many languages in Canada, Croatia, America, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Dubai, Tajikistan and Russia. She is the author of a collection of poems called "Nameless Feelings". She became participant of many international conferences in the world.
