 The miracle of the night

We gave meaning to our love from yesterday's hopes,

From hundreds of stories collected over time

In the season of life blooming in spring

When the purity of the snow faded under the gaze of the sun.

I didn't believe that from the ashes, flames ignited

In the distance a murmur of a spring, on the threshold of morning

And the wind that passes through the dream of late nights

He fell asleep under my corner of the clear sky...

If only the dream would be a miracle in my life

On my forehead a wreath of red poppies

To gather from the unknown plains

I would raise a prayer to the sky to remember you.

I always lose you at night among the blooming chestnuts

Under the raindrops when the lanterns light up

Now please, once in your life, give me a smile

And the power to live the miracle in two...

Maria Ciobotariu – Poet - International Ambassador of Peace through Literature.

Daughter of Teodor and Maria Istin

Graduate of the High School of Philology-History and the Cultural-Scientific University of Braşov - personal inspector courses-education, computer science

Member of the League of Writers - Braşov Branch.
