POEM - IN THIS LIFE, POETESS - DR. ELISABETTA BONAPARTE (ITALY)
IN THIS LIFE
DR. ELISABETTA BONAPARTE ( IITALY)
like a castaway
I tame the waves
in the boundless ocean,
where the horizon
has no limits
and calm is a chimera.
The carpet of the stars in the sky
it looks even brighter
in the rare quiet of clear nights
when grit and courage
they give in
to the illusion of a placid pond.
