May Day
Dr. Manoranjan Das
May day advocates the workers right;
Here is hidden the workers' fight.
It carries the mode of movements
Of labourers attachig their basements.
The contemporay world carries it's theme
Where depth of this day is to supreme.
'Eight hours'll be worked per day',
It was the demand of them as ray.
After a blood shed, the workers won;
In the world, day by day it is known.
1st May is celebrated in the world,
Exploiters're unitedly here to stand.j
