Does Past Die Ever?
Tanvir Mostafa
When I saw you first,
Glorification to your beauty was a must.
When I found you physically near to me,
It was hard to describe how real it could be.
You are mysteriously charming,
My wisdom went beyond my knowing.
Now you are lost and lost forever,
Only my few select buddies know who you were.
Despite you are beyond my hold,
I cant forget your, though you are gone and cold.
I still dwell on those sugared currents of time,
When we envisioned of a next chapter,—yours and mine.
Now that next chapter, feels like a story incomplete,
Its rhythm stumbles, with one heart’s beat.
And though I make efforts go forward,, I rue—
As if I had been a morning grass that doesn’t survive without morning dew.

Yearning for Nature's Embrace
Poet Tanvir Mostafa
My heart wishes to fly back to nature.
My heart is sore now; it needs peace and cheer.
I find something hearty and earnest there...
A joyous and lovely feeling entreats me: "COME NEAR, COME NEAR."
Now I feel a strong passion for her.
She is the real and unadulterated nature.
I miss her deeply, longing for her again and again.
Can she hear the yearning that echoes within?
Love you, feel you, and want you again.
My heart was puzzled, and perplexed was my brain.
In you, I find the calm that never drops—
To cool my storming soul… above all, you're the top.
Now my mood is calm, no longer charged with pain.
I feel you near when sorrow grips my heart in chains.
When the beautiful nature comes before my eyes,
I feel my tumultuous brain and heart turn cool as ice.
