Poems of Raisa Melnikova ( Vilnius, Lithuania)

I Will Get Spring from My Heart

Raisa Melnikova

I will get spring from my heart,

I will move a rainbow to the garden with my thoughts,

I will not fall asleep on this starry night.

I will cast away all doubts from my soul.

I will decorate my house with thyme

and cover my palms with verbena,

and with a mysterious bright face

I will open the door to my beloved.

I will take my friend to a secret chamber,

I will whisper magic words there

I will not tell anyone about this, I will not tell

We are together in this element of ours.

About Love

Raisa Melnikova

I touch your palms with my palms.

The hot sparks

pierce both the body and the soul,

and I want to be an odalisque.

And the recklessness of passionate love

throws us into each other's arms.

In the fire of mutual feeling

lips merge with lips,

a blouse slips off the shoulder,

and currents flow to the esophagus.

The crystal chandelier is extinguished -

nature rejoices in love.

And in a passionate

love prayer,

being born and burning again,

as if on a razor blade,

we slide between hell and heaven.

Once upon a Time

Raisa Melnikova

When the dope of exciting lilac

Hanged over the squares of the squares,

Our shadows once intertwined,

Escaped from the echoing galleries.

But time, swinging the old pendulum,

Brushed away the imprints of bygone days,

And the smells of the most magical May

Faded to nothing under the songs of October.

Our shadows go beyond the horizon,

Like the silhouettes of distant ships.

Measurably on a cold autumn day

Washes them away with streams of rain.

But will respond with a multiple echo

In the sophistication of initial letters and speeches

The unique cosmos of man,

The irreplaceable world of his passions.
