The Banner of Truth: A Spiritual Prayer
Professor Dr. Mostafa Dulal
You are the Pure, the Infinite, beyond all earthly frame,
The ocean of mercy and grace — all glory in Your name.
I sing of Your kindness, of compassion so grand,
Cover our lost souls with Your merciful hand.
I lift the anchor of my mind to rise in Your grace,
Awaken my sleeping conscience in Your saving embrace.
Don’t cast me in wells of poison or shadows that confound,
Let me float in Your river where true life is found.
Though You have no partner, Your rule is everywhere,
Your greatness and glory remain forever fair.
You guide every seeker, You are truth’s shining flame,
Don’t let me be lost in falsehood’s name.
Free me from all illusion, O Merciful, Forgiving One—
May my life walk the path of justice till its journey’s done.
