Poem - The Anchor of Faith, Poetess - Dr. Omatee Ann Marie Hansraj (Trinidad and Tobago)

The Anchor of Faith

Faith's anchor holds me tight,

In my Lord's wisdom, I take flight.

Rewards may come in unexpected ways,

Yet I trust in His benevolent gaze.

If not, His will is divine,

A mystery that I must entwine.

What's good may hide a bitter core,

And what's feared may be a blessing in store.

God's wisdom far surpasses mine,

A glimpse of truth, He sees it all in line.

In surrender, I find my peace,

A trust that His plan will release.

In His hands, I place my fate,

A faith that waits, a heart that waits.

For in His wisdom, I am free,

To trust, to believe, to see.

Quote:

Faith is not about seeing the horizon, but trusting  the Navigator.
