Dr. Ambedkar: A Being Of Liberty
Biswanath Saha
Hail to thee! O Scholar of scholars
Born in India, a child of Humanity.
Because of so-called low birth in
Mahar community, society neglects you
What is not due to you, a being of liberty.
Social discrimination puts you in
Isolation in schools during the formative
Period of your life. How cruel inhuman
Treat you bear all years in silent tears !
The fire of intellect and the indomitable
Urge in you paves the way for all- round
Growth and development in the horizon of
Man and Manners! Existence in trouble
Face you at every walk of life; and you
Struggle for existence and for being and
Becoming you cherish in the recess of
Your heart.
Leaving a brilliant mark everywhere in your
career you acquire the highest rank in
Education and achievement! What an excellent man you are! You cherish the principle of Love,
Liberty, Equality and fraternity for the nation
And Humanity. You chair the session for the
Drafting committee of the Indian Constitution
And speak of freedom and right for all and honour Man as Man.
Restructure the society and rebuild you the nation with your modesty and modality.
And advocate equality and social justice for
All people. The entire nation endear you, love
You. All revear and remember!
