 The Whisper of Poetry

Arelis Danger de la Cruz (Cuba)

On the horizon, a dream is glimpsed,

between sighs and the light of the firmament.

A poem is born from the depths,

unafraid to look at feeling.

In intertwined verses, love nestles,

a song of hope and sweet melody.

In each word, a kiss and a flower,

an echo that resonates in poetry.

Remain with each verse I sing to the wind,

with the magic that springs from the pen in my hand.

Remain in the poet's sigh in his lament,

in the closest embrace of words.

To be a poet is to navigate the sea of emotion,

between the waves of the soul and the eternal song.

Letting the muses guide inspiration,

and delivering a tender story to the world.

Remain with the essence of each line drawn,

with the echo of a whisper in the dark night. 

Remain with the heartbeat of poetry in love,

with sincere dedication and pure passion.
