Corina Junghiatu, an acclaimed poet from Bucharest, Romania, is renowned for her profound literary contributions. She holds a master’s degree in Philology and Psychopedology and a bachelor's degree in Letters and Philosophy from the University of Bucharest. Multilingual, Corina is proficient in five foreign languages, enhancing her literary scope. She has published two celebrated poetry collections: "Exile in Light" and "The Ritual of a Sunrise." Her work has earned her multiple accolades, including the Gujarat Sahitya Akademi Award on three occasions. In 2021, she was honored with the Order of Shakespeare Medal and received the SahityaPata Award in 2022. Besides her literary pursuits, Corina serves as the Managing Editor of Creatividad International and the Chief Adviser for the World Nations Writers' Union in Kazakhstan. Her contributions continue to have a significant impact on the global literary landscape.

Autumnal Illusion

Corina Junghiatu (Bucharest, Romania)

Tears drip from the syllables of rain 

onto the prison bars of branches, 

cloaked in gray shrouds, 

while metaphorical mists hang in emptiness, 

like triumphal arches 

draped in a crepuscular veil, 

unraveled from the crowns of trees.

Blood-red rubies and blonde opals 

are engraved in the bronze of leaves, 

flowers burn in the silver cup of frost, 

an apple with a core of light 

hangs from a branch, 

while waxen grasses, 

arranged like honeycombs, 

sway in the foam of the wind 

that echoes through shadows.

On the shoulders of the sky, 

the autumn dusk is orchestrated 

in violet, white, pink, and blue, 

a true Byzantine painting 

sketched in the hollow of the horizon, 

from which bloodied poppies fall, 

and the compact, transparent clouds 

from the flora of polar stars 

turn into fiery clusters on trays of embers.

Nuclear butterflies from diaphanous snows 

announce winter – the prelude to reincarnation.

শরৎকালীন মায়া

করিনা জাংঘিয়াতু (বুখারেস্ট, রোমানিয়া)

অনুবাদ: মোঃ ইজাজ আহামেদ (ভারত)

অশ্রু ঝরে বৃষ্টির শব্দাংশ থেকে 

শাখার কারাগারের বারগুলিতে, 

  ধূসর আবরণে আবৃত

রূপক কুয়াশা যখন শূন্যতায় ঝুলে থাকে, 

বিজয়ী খিলানের মত 

আবছা ঘোমটাতে সাজান, 

গাছের মুকুট থেকে উন্মোচিত।

রক্ত-লাল রুবি এবং স্বর্ণকেশী উপল 

পাতার ব্রোঞ্জে খোদাই করা আছে, 

হিমের রুপার কাপে ফুল জ্বলে, 

আলোর শাঁস সহ একটি আপেল 

একটি শাখা থেকে ঝুলন্ত, 

যখন মোমসদৃশ তৃণ, 

মৌচাকের মত সাজানো, 

দোলনা বাতাসের ফেনায়  

যা ছায়ার মাধ্যমে প্রতিধ্বনিত হয়।

আকাশের কাঁধে, 

শরতের সন্ধ্যা করা হয় সুসমন্বিত

বেগুনি, সাদা, গোলাপী এবং নীল রঙে, 

একটি সত্যিকারের বাইজেন্টাইন চিত্র

দিগন্তের ফাঁকে আঁকা, 

যেখান থেকে পড়ে  রক্তাক্ত পোস্তরা , 

এবং নিবিড়, স্বচ্ছ মেঘেরা 

মেরু নক্ষত্রদের উদ্ভিদকুল থেকে 

জ্বলন্ত অঙ্গার ট্রেতে জ্বলন্ত থোপায় পরিণত হয়।

নির্মল তুষার থেকে পারমাণবিক প্রজাপতি 

শীতের ঘোষণা করে - পুনর্জন্মের পূর্বসূচী।
