FAILED STATE 

Ifeanyi Faith Joseph (Nigeria)

Home of shame, Disgrace University 

Of ignorance, poverty, stricken Society, 

Where the pride clothed in shame 

There are home of corruption, camp of 

Murders, dead zone with skull, 

Where there are no joy and 

Job, no room to swing the cat, 

I Wish he can kiss a frog .

Touts are elites, elites become deaf, 

Dumb.

Touts leading elites, clothing

Worn upside down, men walk with head down, foots are up.

I have passed city of failed state,  

My laughter asked, "Are they being or 

Animals?"

My soul answered, "they 

Are animals in human skin".

They hunt education, education lies

Taboo, ignorance wines 

And die with ignorance.
