Her mood,
Was hidden in the silent night.
Witnessed this turbulent undercurrent,
And everything in this world,
Shot away one by one,
Crawled under her feet without any bloodshed;
The kind people,
Gathered together in the middle of this night,
They escaped from the castle hand in hand to light.
Fear and terror,
Instantly filled the details of dull wildfire,
More often than not,
Full of unexpected things,
The Weird Vines look like wraiths,
Surrounding all the beauty so tight.
In such a situation,
Frightened people are circled by loneliness and despair,
In this fragmented and empty night,
Those lonely travelers,
Heart broken into a tiles’ sight.
But now,
In a morning,
When I met the little bird,
Picking the sugar flowers,
Please help me lead it,
To where a tiny chrysanthemum that fell to the gravel,
Let its love fill this quiet city‘s silence again,
That warm love has filled the whole world again.

God granted us we humans
A unique gift
Freedom of expression
The right to give vent to our emotions
A blessing denied to other living beings
Enabling us to keep intact our distinctiveness
At every phase in our lives.
If in life we human beings
Are bereft of our feelings
Feelings which are our expressions
Of our lives in all its sacredness
We then are akin to a bird helpless
In its plight with its broken wings.
Unable to appreciate and relish
That innate sense of freedom
Choking desperately in our denial of freedom
Is like the arrogant eagle
Flustered yet still trying hard to break free from its bondage
Longing in vain to flutter its wings
And to soar with all its might in the blue sky
Indeed freedom so precious should never be denied.
Biography:
Lou Fu (Hsu, shih-ting) was born in Taiwan. Member of Taiwan Poetry Society, Chinese Poetry Society, International Poetry Research Society. He served as deputy editor of the paper published "China miniature poetry" and the "extra-territorial style" section editor.
Author of "Banxia" poem selection (2017), "Shimmer" poem selection (2019).
"WLFPH World Peace and Human Rights Literary Forum" international peace envoy, her poems have been translated into English, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Bengali, Japanese and other languages.

*India's TV news "AKN NEWS" on May 25, 2021 reported that Taiwanese poet Luo Fu translated his poem "Father" for Indian poet Bhawani Shankar Nial, and introduced Taiwanese poet Lou Fu.
