Gentleness, History And  Rain in Farzaneh Dorri's Poetry

         The poetess with hopefulness through poetry ensures that gentleness, history, and rain form a profound poetic triad, and, therefore,  rain is history’s oldest witness, nourishing civilizations and leaving its mark on architecture, while gentleness provides the quiet strength needed to endure, understand, and appreciate the fleeting nature of this very history. She has a gathering for rain through parctical mind and fleeting caress.' Thus, she writes,

'Whispered words ,
Fall and gather,
Like rain,
In the cracks and crevices. 
Of a parched mind;
Too few:
Fade into the dust
Like a fleeting caress'1

        Accomplishingly speaking, Farzaneh Dorri feels that in early civilizations, rain has shaped human development from early agriculture to complex irrigation systems, and, ancient cultures viewed it as both a divine blessing and a terrifying force, leading to the construction of temples and altars dedicated to rain deities.The poetess thinks about the rainy day, accomodating with the drops mirth where the kissing of breeze is gleefully beautified with refreshness. Thus, it may be added,

'I reach out the window and catch the drops with mirth,
I am thrilled to hear the lyric on the roof and the earth.

The cold breeze kisses me,
The trees bathe with glee;
They have brought the rain by hand;
It refreshes and beautified the land.'2

         Efficiently saying, she mindifies her idea that prolonged, gentle rain leaves a unique part on the past, for instance, the tracing of rain against heritage structures—like the ancient walls acts as a sensory bridge to past eras, filling spaces with memories and making history feel alive. She has a feeling of desert land through gentle persistence. Thus, she writes,

'Too many:
Erode the crumbling soil
In a desperate flood.
Weary
Of both drought and deluge,
This desery land waits
For the gentle persistence
Of Spring.'3

        Skillfully approaching , Farzaneh Dorri has special interest on her thought  that  the enlightenment and later eras brought a scientific shift, using instruments like barometers and rain gauges to demystify rainfall, though its cultural and emotional weight in literature and art endures. She has the presentation with electric voices in tbe circle of luminous screen like ideas of rising sun. She has the presentstion of net work by tavelling faster than rising sun. Thus, it may be added,

'Now the present age hums with electric voices.
Invisible networks bind continents together.
A whisper in one corner circles the globe.
Humanity converses across luminous screens.
Languages mingle like rivers in a delts.
Ideas travel faster than the rising sun.'4

        Farzaneh Dorri is a poetess, a translator and an editor. She was born in Iran and currently lives in Denmark. She has Masters degree from Roskilde University. She works as case manager. She can usually be found writing poetry and translating poetry by other poets. Writing poetry was always a reality for her. By her lesson for poetry, she discovered a passion for language. She began translating literature in the beginning of 1990's and publised translation of Danish poetry into Persian in the Persian-Danish cultural magazine, 'Wazheh(word)'. As a translator, she translates between English and Persian , Danish and Persian, English and Danish. She translates also some poems from Norwegian and Swedish into Persian.

       It is to say, the great poetess , Farzaneh Dorri likes to say that the strength of gentleness
resilience  is owed to gentleness, that is often misunderstood as passivity, but it actually requires an immense amount of courage, control, and inner strength; it is the strength wrapped in peace. Thus, she writes,

'A place
at the interaction of
art and history
where the sands of time
never cease to ripple
and life peeks through
each window
to sprout
where stories are sailing away
atop the curling cresyting
waves of change.'5

          Amply speaking, she coursifies her thought that the unique thought of movement is emphasized compassion that has demonstrated to the  lasting change and education comes from nurturing, understanding rather than force. Thus, it may be added a sonnet on her,

'You're the learning zone of strenghtness with object
Of liberation through smooth steering with braveness
Where the feature of ability with the subject
Is into pleasure that refers to serveness.

Your virtues are submitted through adventure
And goodmess , referring for the proper method
For humanhood, notwthstandingly, as it were;
You're adviser too; that is to be understood.

You have the personal deed for mutation
Of moments, freedomifying with relation
Where essence of ample flow of notion
Is cultivated with the permanent action.

You're the impactive of total perspective
Through the message with the term nominative.'6

         Broadly speaking, Farzaneh Dorri conducts her idea through poetry that philosophical impact is famous expressing ,that the gentle rain  grows the flowers, not the thunder, and, gentleness persuades and heals, when gentle rain falls upon historical landscapes, it embodies a beautiful paradox, that is to  delicate, soothing force that washes over the weathered, resilient monuments of our past, renewing the earth and offering hope for the future. Thus, she writes,

'I stand alone out here in the rain
on cold November day and forget why I came,
As I search the dancing clouds for figures and signs,
I become one with all the gray part of the landscape

The trees are deserted and the buildings around me are silent,
They hide from me behind the blanket of gray
The rain falls quietly on my face , washing away all'.7


      Truly saying  with freedom, in a world that praises the loudest voices, the quickest thinkers, and the  fiercest competitors, gentleness is often understood. It is mistaken for weakness. She has to move like special guest, taking gentleness through rain with the starring of time.
      It's to say, in a world that it praises the loudest voices, the quickest thinkers, and the fiercest competitors, gentleness is often misunderstood. It is taken for moving of special guest where dreams are freshen creamly the time, by caring gentleness through rain. Thus, a poem,

'Where it comes from and where it goes
Never come back like a wilted rose
It is moving like a
special guest
Stars and river follow it
It is not a slave and always fit
The time gone was a dream
What comes is always a fresh cream
Capture and enjoy fulfil the same
Time is full of love with aim.'8


         Cardonally speaking , Farzaneh Dorri ensures that inclusion and con- tinuity ripples in endless gentleness through human expression where history and moments are cosmicised like rain. Thus , he writes,

'The fading sun quitely sets behind the blanket of grey
And as darkness falls around me little by little
The rain falls quitely on my face , wahing away the memories,
memories that now seen so old as it bygone era.
      
the landscape now resembles a blue sea,
a sea that I can not recognize.

As I slowly begin to pull myself ashore,
the light finally shines from the buildings and it spreads,
A window to the perfect life, a world beyond may understand
and as the rain stops, hopelessness washing over me.'9
         She , the great poetess accelerates her thought, capabling with visualization of the visible connection through human emotions where she is to stand beside the cold November.Thus, he writes,

'The buildings now show their hard facade
just like my stiff cold legs
People wonder why I'm standing out here alone in rain
On a cold November day, forgetting why I came.'10


       Above all, Farzan eh Dorri postulates her authenticity with her poetry where gentleness, history and rain are cordially honoured and renouned.
