Poems of Yousuf Aslan (Turkiye)

IT CANNOT BE MEASURED BY ANY MEASURING INSTRUMENT
Yusuf Aslan (Turkiye)

The love of truth has fallen into my heart again
It cannot be measured by any measuring instrument
The Almighty God is the only love of my heart
See, God is not known well

The rushing, wild waters will calm down
Various flowers will be gathered on Mount Tur
He is seen with the eyes of the heart
The divine creator cannot be seen with the eyes

The most beautiful scents are in my beloved's hair
I tied roses to the ends of her hair

What a beautiful love was born in my heart
With that love, one cannot leave the divine beloved

We knew each other's feelings, like a pleasant chat

I threw a stone into my heart
Like a bird with its wings plucked
One can never fly to heaven with one wing

The Angel of Death will surely come as a guest
The Trumpet of Israfil will surely sound
Joseph will depart like a stranger
When the time comes, one cannot escape the afterlife

YOU SILENTLY OPENED THOSE DOORS
Yusuf Aslan

There were doors I didn't open
You silently opened those doors
Fine flowers enveloped my body
You secretly unlocked the lock on my heart

Neither a hoopoe came, nor a fox entered
Not even a single person called or inquired

Without you, those doors remained closed
I understood that you opened them when you loved them

Lovers build the Kaaba of the heart
Zamzam waters flow around it
The hearts of lovers beat together
You opened your heart freely, beautifully

With you, faith and belief come
If there is faith in the servant
When love and passion come,
You opened your sweet face to the right place

Without you, the doors and locks rust
With you, the crazy heart calms down
By God, Yusuf calls out to you
You opened them when you heard the voice of your beloved

WHEN I SAW OLCAY, SHE CAME TO MY SOUL
Yusuf Aslan

I wandered the desert and wilderness for a long time
When I saw Olcay, she came to my soul

Her face radiant, her figure like a cypress tree
When I found Olcay in the desolate, dry desert

My crazy heart calmed down a little
Every cry of mine reached her quickly
God granted it, she came to my aid then
When she heard my silent cry, Olcay

My body was cleansed with faith and conviction
That day was a joyful day for us
She reached out, saying "God's hand has come"

When she knew me beyond myself, Olcay

A joy plays and laughs within me
My cypress-tall beloved is positive and positive
Beyond the Sultan of Balabek, Belkis
Her face radiates when she smiles, Olcay

Say, "Yusuf is thirsty, come to his aid"

I wish she would give me water from her hand
A light descended upon me from the Throne of the Universe
A light dawns within me when Olcay comes
