Dungeon of Hatred

An epitaph for your Earthly existence up to fall,
Call it a chariot of a plea of revelation call,
Let leading steed be an epitome of tolerance,
Be it not a glimpse of forthcoming raft,
Be it a buoy against such abomination draft,
No more disdain, no mast, but sail,
United we stand, divided we vanish in gale.

A droplet of rain anticipates a flood,
Incept your bonafide and soothe outrageous blood,
That looming silence of defiant serenade withstand,
Stranded skiffs of affinity at shore side awaiting the final command,
Those dungeons of poignancy tethered to a quay,
Wherein dominant empathy and compassion set free,
A roaring wave to dwell that path,
A triumphant love to end that wrath.

About the Poet:
This is Mr. Ahmed Farooq Baidoon situated in northern Egypt, Damietta. A poet, a novelist and critic.
