Duration of Feelings And Mark of Emotions in Valentine Novkovic's Poetry

Dr. Manoranjan Das

Valentine Novkovic, the coeval great poetess of Serbia prolons the duration of feelings is significant because it is a key dimension of the human emotional experience that influences mental and physical health, decision-making, and social interactions. The length of an emotion is determined by a combination of the perceived importance of the event and an individual's emotion regulation strategies, such as rumination, and, she has the assess through the seeming of desire where the protons of ehoes are under clearence by happiness. Thus, she writes,

'Time, a lollipop
In a child's hands,
Seems to last for ever
A sweet trace
On the palate of desire .
It seems the sky
Will be clear for ever
And footsteps
Will echo happily
On the pavement.'1

Enquiringly speaking , Valentine Novkovic effectifies with wholeness that the key areas of significance of emotion through well- being entangles with the ability to appropriately manage the duration of emotions which  is a sign of good emotional health, and, persistent, long-lasting negative emotions, especially those related to chronic stress, can lead to mental health issues like anxiety and depression, and physical problems such as high blood pressure, a weakened immune system, and digestive issues. In contrast, the ability to prolong positive emotions is linked to greater overall well-being and resilience.
She franks that moments are stealing with beauty where thought is signified with the rush. Thus, she writes,

'Time,
The sycophant that smiles
At us while steaing
The most beautiful
Fruit from hidden orchards
While lulling us
To sleep
With the thought
That there is time
For everything,
That we should not rush.'2
Healthily speaking, Valentine Novkovic easifies that emotions from events perceived as highly important tend to last longer because the individual needs more time to process the consequences and integrate them with their goals and values, and, events of low importance, such as a minor irritation, typically elicit short-lived emotions, and, therefore, the strategies people use to manage their feelings directly affect their duration. Rumination significantly prolongs negative emotions like sadness and anger by keeping the emotional cycle active. Thus, she feels,
'Reappraisal and distraction can effectively shorten the duration of negative emotions and mitigate their impact.Developing flexibility in using different strategies depending on the context is crucial for adaptive functioning and lower psychopathology.
         .....................
Emotions motivate action and influence the quality of decisions. Short-lived emotions, prompt quick, often adaptive, actions. Conversely, long-lasting moods or emotions  can alter risk perception and decision-making processes over time, which may not always be beneficial.'3

Accurately speaking, Valentine Novkovic opens her thought that
the duration of emotional expressions provides important social cues to others, allowing for appropriate responses and the building of meaningful relationships, and, being aware of the potential long-lasting impact of our actions on others' emotions underscores the social significance of emotion-duration. She  clears that time is measured through moments with great executioner. Thus , she writes,
' Time ,
By which we measure
Sad and beautiful moments,
Is our greatest executioner,
If we offer our necks to it.
Believe it.'4

Orbingly speaking, Valentine Novkovic assumes that the mark of emotional expression is a behavior that communicates an emotional state or attitude, and,  it can be verbal or nonverbal, and can occur with or without self-awareness. Emotional expressions include facial movemens like smiling or scowling, simple behaviors like crying, laughing, or saying 'thank you,' and more complex behaviors like writing a letter or giving a gift. Individuals have some conscious control of their emotional expressions, however, they need not have conscious awareness of their emotional or affective state in order to express emotion. She clarifies that freedom includes with eternity, remaining through the recognition.. Thus, she writes,

'After a senseless
Struggle for freedom
That often excludes
The view of eternity,
Kneeling smile remain ,
Hats miss meaningless ,
Seek execuses in thunders
Who recognise weakness.'5

Compactly speaking, Valentine Novkovic excellences her idea through her poetry that psychology has been proposed many different and often competing theoretical models to explain emotions and emotional expression, going as  discussion of emotion as an evolved capacity.
Thus, she feels,

'Though there is no universally accepted theory of emotion, theorists in emotion agree that experience of emotions and expression of them in a variety of ways, such as with voices, faces, and bodies, is key to human communication.'6

Usually speaking, she, the great poetess Mrs. Novkovic accords that
the cultural norms and beliefs of a society also affect and shape the emotional expressions of its members, and expressions appropriate and important in one culture may be taboo in another. She has the victorious feeling that is mixed with poison and healing through prayer. Thus, she writes,

'Because of
victorious
That can't be held
Between the palms ,
Their global mixed
With poison.
In front of the door
Without guards and padlocks
The scars heal on their own
By prayer.'7

Dignifyingly speaking, Valentine Novkovic jollifies with thought where duration of feeling and and mark of emotions are exhibited for the betterment of people through her poetry.
