Glory Written in Blood

 Professor Dr. Mostafa Dulal

Through waves of fire I made my way,

My feet bled red that fatal day.

Bullets pierced my tender ear,

Yet still I shone, no trace of fear.

In games of death where bullets fly,

My torn arm weeps a crimson cry.

The scent of soil, the blood I gave,

Yet smiled I stood, serene and brave.

A lion’s roar within my chest,

But in my heart, soft love would rest.

This body, not of flesh and bone,

But blood and fire my soul has known.

The mother’s song I proudly sing,

In wounds and pain, her flag I bring.

With every drop of blood I bled,

A nation's dream I forged and fed.

Still courage lives in every vein,

The sky I pierced through clouds and rain.

That flag of green and burning red

Waves high above the tears we shed.

A thousand suns within me rise,

With strength and hope that never dies.

Together we shall build our land,

With honest heart and working hand.

With wealth, with crops, and wisdom’s light,

Our nation’s head shall rise in might.

The world shall smile in proud acclaim —

A tale of glory, writ in flame.
