FOOTPRINT
Dr. Maheswar Das
As we stroll in the way of life
Feeling the shocks of failure and success in life.
In ascend and descent, we feel life's real flow.
And in a tremendous blow, we feel life's real show.
Footprints are legacy and great lessons, which great people leave.
They become a guiding light and inspiration for generations, they give.
Following the footprints, we can make our lives great.
And leave an illustrative footprint for the generation to follow straight.
Footprints are immortal in the sands of time.
The life of great people becomes a footprint for
all time.
It becomes a beacon of guiding light.
To lead a life of sublime thoughtful light.
Man will pass away, but his footprint remains.
In the flow of time, footprints are immortal.
It can never fade or wither away.
Remain as it is, in the passage of time.
