The Whispering Tree
Dr. Debabrata Maji

It would go up high
               In the whispering tree,
Lives a curious cat
                May it a crooked flea.

They bake green pies
                     Within a shiny pot,
And eat them up
                  Having it piping hot!

They fly on a cloud
                  The stars are bright,
It tickles the moon
                   In the dead of night.

Then they slide down
             A rainbow moves there,
It curls up to sleep
               By the whispering tree.
