WINGS OF PEACE
Nataša Radanović
Serbia – Sweden
If everyone reached out a hand to another,
the world would wear a brighter face,
and the dove of peace, on snow-white wings,
would gently soar above every place.
It takes so little for happiness to bloom,
not riches measured in gold’s embrace;
it is enough to open our hearts to others
and truly believe in kindness and grace.
Let every word become a bridge between us,
not a wall dividing shore from shore;
let every smile replace the silence
and calm the grief and pain once more.
The dove of peace knows no borders,
no color of skin, no stranger’s name;
it circles lovingly above us all,
whispering goodness just the same.
Friendship is the fairest promise,
written by the heart, not by the pen;
within it, love finds its quiet home
and grows stronger again and again.
May children grow up surrounded by peace,
without fear, without sorrow, without war;
may the sky be filled with endless light,
and every dawn open a brand-new door.
So let us cherish one another,
like a flame that shines through the night;
for where kindness and unity flourish,
the finest poetry comes to life.
And while the dove still flies above the world,
carrying a branch of hope and salvation,
may peace forever find its voice
within every human heart.
WOMAN OF LIGHT
Natasa Radanovic
Within me, colors softly burn,
like a flame that refuses to fade.
Though silence hides me in its shadows,
my eyes still carry living light.
The colors guarded by the soul never die,
nor the light born from dreams;
for every tear conceals within itself
a tiny grain of gold and daybreak.
Within me live the skies and rivers,
ancient paths and cherished memories.
And every color I have brought to life
bears the imprint of my soul.
I am not a shadow that quietly disappears;
I am a flame enduring through the night—
a woman of light, of dreams and colors,
finding her strength within herself.
As the last ray breathes upon the canvas,
and colors speak instead of words,
my soul will paint forever,
and my light will shine forever.
The Covenant of the White Flight
Natasa Radanovic
In the valley where the earth prays in silence,
where the wind remembers what has never been,
from dark forest, from roots and deep dream,
the most beautiful light is born.
A white bird — a sign of height and peace —
carries in its chest what never fades,
and when it spreads its wings above the valley,
silence speaks in purity.
This is not flight, but a covenant of light,
between sorrow and the enduring sky;
each feather — a trace of permanence,
so that man does not become his own darkness.
Beneath it awaken stone and flower,
and the river forgets its silent world,
the forest becomes a temple of breath,
without darkness, without fear, without dust.
A child recognizes the light in its eyes,
and finds itself in that white flight,
and understands: hope never sleeps,
while the soul still rises upward.
The dove carries infinity in its wings,
between pain and sky — its radiance,
and wherever it touches earth and grass,
it turns sorrow into dawn’s glow.
When it returns to the silence of branches,
pages remain written across the sky:
love is stronger than any darkness,
and the light within man — eternal and strong.
