THE BEAUTY OF A WOMAN

A good mind is, often said, found in a good body
Although, there is no endurance in the appearance of a body

True, that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder
We get impressed by the slim waist and broad shoulder

Wide eyes, full lips, and visible cheeks are a maze
These look stunning and create some amaze

However, true beauty in a woman is her soul
That governs her all compassion within control

Beauty is not only that, which looks attractive
Beauty must do such works, which are constructive

The face and outer appearance are fragile,
Which feel extremely charming only for a while

The silky skin, thin hair, full lips, and wide eyes
It is possible, these may give you, more surprise

Nevertheless, the physical features are not just futile
The Estrogen makes them altogether more fertile

Nature has given women such charm and attraction
So that, men can feel towards them, the deeper fascination

Nature knows how to grow and progress
It helps Homosapiens to protect their species and race

Women in love get more peace of mind and grace
The beauty in such women manifests by their face

God is a great creator and women create too
God feeds all living beings and women feeds too

Dr. Perwaiz Shaharyar has bagged many States and National Awards and accolades for his literary works. His more than 200 articles and research papers have been published. He has a total of 15 published books, 2 each of collections of short stories and collections of poems, 5 books of criticism, and 4 books of translation from other languages in his credential and 2 Children’s Story books. His one children's storybook has been published by a premier organization National Book Trust, India. His collection of 12 stories for children is ready to print from India.
Furthermore, his anthology entitled “The Burning Boat” was published in November 2025 which is available for sale in Amazon.


Dr. Perwaiz Shaharyar is an Editor and a trilingual (English, Hindi and Urdu) poet, short story writer and critic from India. He is Graduate with English Honours from Ranchi University. He has topped Jawaharlal Nehru University in Masters with Literature. He was awarded Doctor of Philosophy for his Research Work from University of Delhi. He is Post Graduate Diploma holder in Calligraphy, Mass Media and Book publishing.
He has written more than 100 poems, participated in many worldwide webinars and published in various international anthologies, so far. His as many as 25 poems have been translated by many award-winning litterateurs in Polish, Indonesian, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese and Albanian languages. The anthology of his 40 selected poems ‘The Burning Boat’ containing mystic (Sufism) and metaphysical elements was published in November 2025.
