Excellence And Humankind in Eden Soriano Trinidad's  Poetry

'O, Humankind, often sung in noble verse,
For self, for loved ones, in this fleeting land.

Does the wind blow only westeard, free?
Does rain fall solely on the wealthy's spree,
Or dancing rhythm with the monsoon's decree?
Does the sun rise only when summer's near?'1

'How do you paint the hues of autumn's grace,
Or winter's chill, if they touch you've never faced?
Where does the path of mortal life unfold,
In a fleeting breath, unnoticed, untold?

A day may fade , or stretch long and bold ,
Yet the strive for greatness never grows old.
O, Human, what is humankind's core,
Chasing peaks where dreams and ambitions soar?'3

Cities expanded like thoughts across continents.
Human curiosity refused the chains dogma.
Mind revived its independent valour
Astronomers, poets and painters looked ahead
New questions ignited
the air of Europe.

The theatre of William Shakespeare mirrored
the labyrinth of human hearts.
Kings and clowns grumbled the same sad wit
Milton's pen tuned a melody of paradise and rebellion
Descartes hummed as a thinker of thinkers in existence
The individual voice demanded recognition.'4

'Fame, wisdom, power-- goals we adore ,
To grasp at glory is a quest worth striving for.
To rise above the common, the mundane,
Is by the birthright of very soul, woman or man.

Lose not hope, though the sun may set again,
Day after day, through joy or pain.
The hasty runner may stumble and fall,
But steady steps, though slow, conquer all.'

Bringing the panacea time will heal all;
The nephrons of time will purge  and purify them.
The earth will be filled with humanity's and harmony's fragrance.'6

Owed to spirit primarily with men's
Blissful enjoyment through act properly
And that's secondarily goes to essence.

You are force of supreme firmament
And there you have into your love's attachment.'8

One day, the luster of my eyes will fade,
I'll cherish it now while the light still sways.
One day my limbs will grow weary, my back will bend,
I'll walk these paths while my strength won't end.

I choose to savor both sunny and rainy days,
For when the winter storms come, I'll find my way.
In Autumn's embrace, I've planted my seeds,
And when the rain falls, they'll rise, fulfilling my needs--
Their blooms will beam, bright with a smile,
A harvest of love of, nurtured with time's gentle style.'9

      Eden Soriano Trinidad hails from the tanks alike.

I'll hold the moments dear in love and trust.
And when the sun sets, casting shadows long,
I'll rest in peace, knowing my life was a song.'10
