POEM - THE MOTHER OF LIGHT, Poetess - HRM Empress Madani

THE MOTHER OF LIGHT

HRM Empress Madani

I

In gardens where the ancient sleep,

I sow the seeds the soul must keep.

My words are dew on petals new,

To bring the morning back to you.

II

The Empress is no wall of gold,

No palace gate, no winter cold.

I am the hand that breaks the fall,

The sacred vow that heals us all.

III

We do not wait for clouds to part,

To fill the bucket of the heart.

The spring is deep, the water near,

I dive to drown the world of fear.

IV

A single drop, a gift of grace,

Can wash the desert from your face.

I turn the spark to global flame,

And give the spirit back its name.

V

For every deed of goodness done,

Is music to the rising sun.

I walk the path where light began,

To find the peace in every man.

VI

Beneath my wings, the fields are green,

The harvest of a mother-queen.

I leave a trail of stars in flight,

To lead you home through every night..
