THE GLORIOUS LONGING 

Rico el Maut

On the table, the coffee cools without a trace, like a lingering question, never abating. There's a quiet rumbling in my chest, about hesitant steps, whether to stay or just end things. 

The walls of my room are filled with the chatter of thoughts, constructing scenarios that find no answers. Yesterday seemed so bright, why does my heart seem so dim and uncertain? 

I am a ship that has lost its direction, stranded between wanting and impossible. I want to run, but my feet feel heavy on the ground. I want to hold on, but my heart is slowly dying. 

Tonight, let hesitation be my friend, meeting the remaining fatigue that hasn't found a harbor. Because sometimes getting lost is the only way to truly understand what you're fighting for.

Biodata: 

Rico el Maut: Actor, theater and film director, declamator, and poet. He became acquainted with the arts, particularly theater, in 1985. In 1986, he became the best actor at the SMS level in Lampung. From there, he became increasingly convinced to continue his arts studies at the Jakarta Arts Institute (IKJ) majoring in acting. Since 1989, he has been pursuing acting in both theater and film, and has performed in many roles. In addition to acting, he has also pursued poetry, albeit on a small scale, such as reading poetry with fellow TIM artists, or being invited to other provinces and regions. In 1997, he was appointed head of the IKJ "Teater Lembaga" (Institute Theatre) and has produced many professional performances. In 1999, he continued film school (unfinished due to filming). In 2000, he became a top director in Jakarta and also founded the "Camp Teater" studio at TIM, serving as director and instructor. He is a film director and has directed many films, including: - FTV - + 1,000 titles - Film series - + 30 titles, etc.
