Turning the Key: 2026

 Dr. Md. Bodrul Alam Shohag

Happy New Year, Twenty Twenty-Six,

A turning key, a hopeful mix.

The clock exhales, the past lets go,

New chances hum and start to grow.

Dawn writes gold on winter skies,

Promise wakes in clearer eyes.

We pack our fears in smaller bags,

And stitch our dreams from hopeful rags.

Kind words travel farther now,

Brave hearts remember how.

Plans may bend, but still we steer,

Guided by what matters here.

Let laughter find the cracks in stone,

Let quiet wins be proudly owned.

May patience outlast sudden storms,

And love keep breaking all its forms.

We learn, we leap, we rest, we try,

We wave to doubts as they pass by.

With hands held fast and spirits free,

We choose the best of what can be.

So light the path and fix your sights,

On truer days and gentler nights.

Here’s to becoming—bold and free,

Cheers to the year: Twenty Twenty-Six!
