Poem - Palestine Should Be Free, Poet - Dr. Bodrul Alam Shohag
Palestine Should Be Free
Dr. Bodrul Alam Shohag
Beneath the sun, where olives grow,
A land still weeps where rivers flow.
Children dream beneath the flame,
Yet freedom whispers Palestine’s name.
Walls divide but hearts still beat,
Hope survives on every street.
Tears may fall, yet courage stays,
Lighting dark and endless days.
No chain can bind a people’s song,
No night can silence right from wrong.
The stars above still softly gleam,
Upon a nation’s broken dream.
Justice calls from every sea,
“Let every soul and child be free.”
No more cries beneath the sky,
No more mothers left to sigh.
From mountain high to olive tree,
The world shall echo — *“Let them be free!”*
