Loss in the loose:

 Ahmed Farooq Baidoon

A noetic shape of mine got tucked at the end,

Within my patience lines of no use to mend,

A adamite lost in letters maze —weeping in ink,

A blind bard could no more wink or blink,

My gurgling waters of one's own inspiration cloud,

Shall carry forward such a placebo shroud,

My whereabouts let alone a fairy tale in the lala land,

A resilient child aged in form of a senile with a wand,

All natural pieces lined in a harmonious peaceful serenade,

While a man taking after me trapped in an untrodden promenade,

Is it a specter of dream to tell or a nightmare?

It doth feel like a helpless homosapien apparition knows no dare!

It must be an act of my glorious Lord to show me the light,

Let thine diamond-in-the-rough lanterns overcome the plight,

Loose trails of my troubled universe make out a foray,

Let faith in forthcoming truthful tidings save your day.

An Epitome of Compassion:

Ahmed Farooq Baidoon

The Mighty Lord ordained to cast mercy,

So as to be mercied in return,

Let-alone that handgrip of compassion melting those perched strenuous urn,

Why that shape of capricious obstinacy turn you into a hard nut to crack?

Don't you want to be that big with consummated morality stack?

Hold true to the prodigy of a compassionate,

If only that mannerism was a prescribed pillar in congregational faith embrace,

That merciful heart with lenience and painstakingly charitable pace,

An idol of wisdom and altruism —incomparable grace,

Apart from that innate core significance inside of us shall overcome grudge and obscenity,

Destitute of monger of detestation and harbinger of ominous brutality,

Compassion is the empowerment to break that impeding iceberg mount,

Be it that scanty ethics wrapping us in virtuous considerable cloak into account,

It must be taken for granted, confound that sparsity of bonafide!

Compassion had that boomerang to deter that traumatic wrath,

As a ripple-effect with undulating waves to dismantle thorny path,

A curious onlooker to the interests of the other shall be wreathed,

With victorious garland, that kind of philanthrope with a diamond heart sheathed.

Repercussions Never Wane

Ahmed Farooq Baidoon

Behold that chirping nightingale with a melancholic psalm,

With processional tumultuous grapes of calm,

That shape of crimson dolly sunken in a woof of rubble,

Call it a finale to purity and innocence – a travesty! - No matter such trouble.

Those helpless littles were once mumbling, manipulating and mimicking;

As playwrights dramatizing such wagging ducklings and roaring lions,

The strongholds of world audience and spectators cheered with applause,

It was so, that merriment on the cusp of fruitful realm dreams,

Yet, all-in-all turned into a fearful nightmare,

Nothing but a hoax of so-called mankind, mutilating austere smile.

Hard to tell such conscientious decline at stake,

No more laughter, jests nor fretful wake,

The theatrical stage was destitute of their existence,

Their abode recline in divine providence.

The whopping crows verily yelled at me,

‘It does serve you right, heartless humanity to obliterate that glee!’

Let-alone a scythe plucking out crumbs of my shreds in the sneer of loss,

Farewell to your bragging prodigy – no use such monotonous floss,

I wonder in my solitary altar and burst in torrential contemptuous despair;

Be there enough muckle of time to repent,

With the advent of bygone children’s jubilant sun lair?

An angelic response – a mighty vanguard of universal chant:

‘You, infinitesimal being, shall doom to inevitable exodus to nowhere – what a grant!’

I begged that leafless oak to cast some shade – as if I were in a squabble and trance,

An epitaph or a pictorial mortuary uplifting my blooming pedigree proclaimed:

“A miserable loser on the brink, you stroll death ramp of buds – ain’t you ashamed?”

"Ain't you an heir on staunch wavering abode, no more trophy for equinox"

"A form of helpless wanderer trapped in a maze box!"
