Moments' Mooring And Season's Mist in Edy Samudra Kertagama's Poetry

        In the contemporary world, Edy Samudra Kertagama of Indonesia endows that seasons and fleeting moments are driven by the earth's continuous exical tilt and its -day revolution around the sun, and, this tilt dictates both grand seasonal shifts and localized weather. He has the morning and night's situation in his mind.Thus, he writes,

'The clouds sway
Water falls on the road
While missing the sky
Falling in the morning.

Is there someone
Watching over the night?'1


      Generally telling, he has to mistify the season primarily that refers to an independent extremely
metal record label that is rowed to  season of mist, i.e,  the extreme metal through mental label and  for releasing records by ground lebel and heavy, and, the poetic description of autumn like 'Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness', is entangled . He has the utterence with the judgement, following affection through empowerment with meaning where moment's mooring and season's mist are to run in mechanism, tentacling with spirituality through blessimgs like disciple's free act.Thus, a sonnet on him,

'With the reserving of the judgement, you have ,
You forward yourself through respect and proper
Context everywhere with the wisdom that you gave
For noble flame of affection; that is to refer.

Your pure thought is empowered by brightfulness,
By facing with grim meaning of inspiration
Where domes of deeds are into delightfulness;
DHere is you with your authentication.

You are the doner of the moments for kindling
Kindness through the mechanism of your
Own free activity, duly tentacling
With spirituality; that's to prefer;

Your goal is blessed like disciple's free act
Where your good wills are wooed to set and set.'2

          It's to say philosophically that Edy Samudra Kertagama feels that season of mist is an independent label and that's always been known for being innovative and having a wide spectrum of life. Again he carries a significance of moments  which ģdepends entirely on context, that is, in statistics, he , the great poet mathematically described the shape of data distributions; in physics, they measure rotational forces; and in philosophy of season's mist and moment's mooring, they represent the fleeting through the base of life's iteration. He carries mood of bird's flapping  through silence  where the barren of any keeping is for ever. Thus, he writes,

'When everyone has returned
To note silencec
There are thousands of echoes
Has been scratched by bird flaps
Which suddenly came
From the sprawling  landscape.

And I ask you
Forget the barren skies
So that the fire in the eyes
It's not in vain that we keep it
Forever.'3

         Basing on truth and reality, Edy Samudra Kertagama has carried in mind the description of heaviness or lightness of the distribution's tails compared to a normal curve through the moments' mooring  and season's mist. He has carried the holding of season like Summer through his ownness where his spits are into surroundings.Thus, it me be added,

'Summer has come
holding the hand of the hot sin
Who is looking at the earthwith angry eyes.
The animals seek cooling shelter of trees.
But where are enoughb trees ?
The throats of the thirsty ponds and the rivers are dried,
The soil is being fried.
Hasting the cruel people mere,
The old son spits fire.'4

             Edy Samudra Kertagama, as a poet and director is invited to  National and International  literary-theatre meetings. His published poetry books are;  Dry ( 1997), Nyanyian Sinyi ( 2002); Short poems, Dew White (2004), Mantra Sang Nabi ( 2016), Carriage and Poem of the Rajawali Bird (2019), Twilight and Drizzle ( 2024); Some of his poems were  published in the Betsana anthology, namely: Love in Summar ( Bilingual Anthology, Englsh and Spanish), The Mist (Internatipnal Poetry Global), Glacier ( 2024).          Truthfully speaking, Edy Samudra Kertagama mobilizes his thought that in classical mechanics, a moment is the product of a physical quantity like force or mass and its distance from a reference point, and moment of a force that measures the tendency of a force to cause an object to rotate around a pivot with moments' mooring and season's mist. He has the feelings on water, grass through the dreaming of moon's floating. Thus, he writes,

'There in the abandoned place
the hills lost water, the grass roots became barren, branches and leaves hardened,
tree trinks
like worn-out  writing tools.

The long days have disappeared
Dreams and the moon float
like fallen leaves.'5

        He, the great poet exposed his idea through the principle of moments that states that in equilibrium, the sum of clockwise moments equals the sum of anticlockwise moments around a pivot, and,
in everyday terms, a moment signifies the present, fleeting unit of time, and it's significance lies in the fact that it cannot be relived, holding value strictly through appreciation or regret based on how one chooses to experience on it. He,with his own assurance has a mode of thought with imagination with poetry in season and moments. Thus, it may be added,

'Measure, time and number are nothing but modes of thought or rather of imagination.'6

       It's to say that in dtatistics, moments are popularly used to describe the shape, location, and variability of a probability distribution,and, moments provide a way to summarize life's deeds, and,
a moment is a mathematical expression involving the product of a distance and a physical quantity such as a force or electric charge. He, the poet par excellence, uses to say that the spring is waiting to answer through the journey of all seasons. Thus, he writes,

'And now spring had come
the sky sprays rain
while eyes wait  by the lake
long awaiting an answer,
and am I wrong if l
change the journey
for the two or three season I tamed.'7

            Therefore, the poet's poetry carries the feelings through the significance of the moment  that once it has gone, it can't come back, and, men can appreciate or regret those moments.
