THE LAST LIGHT OF HUMANITY

Before the first ray of sunlight touched the Earth,
silence guarded the memory of creation.

From a single breath of eternity,
the universe planted within us a question:
Who are we beyond our names and our shadows?

We are not the crowns we wear,
nor the kingdoms we build and lose;
we are the invisible traces of love
that we leave behind in other souls.

Time does not measure a human life
by years, but by moments of truth,
by the hands we extend,
by the wounds we heal,
by the light we protect in the darkness.

The greatest strength of a human being
is not to conquer the world,
but to overcome hatred within.

For every thought is a seed,
every word is a force,
every heart is a universe
waiting to awaken.

One day, when all borders become only memories
and humanity looks into the mirror of eternity,
only one question will remain:

Did we leave the Earth brighter
than we found it?

HOENIX OF HOPE

“When one heart carries the weight of the world, a strength is born that triumphs over ashes.”

In the night where stars and dreams grow dim,
a white wing of hope rises from the ashes.

The Phoenix does not fly for itself alone.
It carries a city, a legacy of humanity,
a story woven from survival, faith, and love.

Upon its mighty back rest homes and streets,
memories untouched by time,
the laughter of children awaiting a new dawn.
It guards the gates once crossed by sorrow,
so that life may enter through them once again.

It walks through darkness with the sun within its heart,
while the moon lights its silent path.
Beneath its powerful wings,
flowers of hope begin to bloom,
and from every wound, a new seed of life is born.

No storm can ever break a creature
that carries light and faith within its soul.
For wherever one human being reaches out to another,
a new dawn rises—
not only over a single city,
but across the entire world.

The Phoenix carries more than one city.
It bears the prayers of all nations,
the dreams of every mother,
the smile of every child,
and the hope of every heart that refuses to surrender.

Within its flight lives an eternal message:

After every ash, life blossoms again.
After every darkness, light is reborn.
And wherever love exists,
the Phoenix never ceases to fly.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND FREEDOM AFTER SPEECH

Freedom is not a voice
that overwhelms others.

Freedom is a word
that does not trample upon another’s dignity.

Everyone can speak.
But to remain faithful to what has been spoken,
only the brave can do that.

Because every word
has its roots
and its wings.

It flies farther than us,
touches other minds,
changes destinies,
or wounds them forever.

That is why freedom of speech
is not permission to hurt,
but the right to speak the truth
without fear.

And freedom after speech
is not silence.

It is a gaze
that does not fall.

It is a conscience
that sleeps peacefully.

It is responsibility
that does not seek excuses.

For a person is not remembered
by how much they have spoken,

but by how much truth, dignity, and love
remain alive
in their words.

A BIRTHDAY WREATH OF LIGHT

Today, a quiet star awakens,
leaving a golden trace upon the book of the sky,
for the soul that offers light to others
writes eternity through the kindness it carries.

Ancient wisdom walks beside your thoughts,
and in your words rests the depth of an age.
Your pen carries the fragrance of a sacred gift,
while your heart preserves the beauty of humanity.

A philosopher who illuminates the world through questions,
a poet who builds bridges from dreams,
in every word you leave your unique voice,
teaching us that love is the force that guides the world.

May your years become gardens of peace,
may joy shine within your eyes,
may your soul continue to sing with greater strength,
and may goodness accompany you throughout life.

Nataša Radanović (Serbia)

Nataša Radanović was born in 1971 in Foča, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She grew up in Goražde and continued her artistic journey through education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade. Today, she lives and creates in Sweden.

She is a proud mother of two adult children, who represent her greatest life gift, a source of love, strength, and inspiration.

From her earliest childhood, Nataša has been devoted to the world of words, colours, and art. Writing for her is not only a creative act, but an inner necessity and a way to express the deepest parts of herself. Her life and artistic motto is:

“I do not write so that you may understand me; I write so that I may remain whole.”

As an artist, painter, and poet, Nataša Radanović creates in the space where image and word meet. Painting and poetry represent an inseparable unity in her work — sometimes a painting gives birth to a poem, and sometimes a poem inspires a painting. The colours she transfers onto canvas, through different shades of light, carry the same emotions, thoughts, and inner world that she conveys through her pen onto paper.

The name of her artistic website ArtAurora Natasa carries the symbolism of light, dawn, and a new beginning. Aurora represents her belief that art can bring hope, beauty, and positive energy to people. Through her creative work, Nataša wishes to bring light into the lives of others, to connect, encourage, and remind people of the values of love, kindness, and peace.

Her art carries strong messages of humanity. Through poetry and painting, she advocates peace in the world, respect for human rights, the preservation of nature, an ecologically healthy and clean environment, as well as more compassionate and harmonious human relationships.

Her poetry and artworks have been featured in numerous national and international literary magazines, publications, collections, anthologies, and contemporary digital media. Her artistic presentations, video recordings, and participations can also be found online and on YouTube.

Many of her poems have been translated into several world languages, including English, Spanish, Greek, Romanian, and Italian. Her creative work has been published around the world, across different continents.

A special place in her artistic journey belongs to “Living Letter to Planet Peace”, a work whose message of peace, love, and unity has reached readers across the globe. It has been published on different continents, from East to West and from North to South, as a universal message dedicated to humanity and the world.

For her literary, artistic, and humanitarian work, Nataša Radanović has received numerous awards and recognitions in her homeland and internationally. She was proclaimed “Woman of the 21st Century” in the field of painting, and the following year received the same recognition for her overall creative contribution through painting, poetry, and humanitarian work.

Her artworks have been recognized and awarded on the international stage through honours from various countries, including India, Ecuador, Mexico, Egypt, and others. These recognitions represent a confirmation of her dedication and of an art that connects beauty, spirituality, peace, and light.

Nataša Radanović writes spiritual, patriotic, love, and children’s poetry, as well as stories and fairy tales. Her art represents a bridge between the heart and the world, between image and word — with the desire to leave behind a trace of love, hope, and light through her creative work.
