Spring in Palestine
Fatemeh Rezanejad
Olive blossom
The wheel
The wheel
The wheel
In blood circuit.
Petals -
Red full
The walls are splashed on the walls
Abstracts on the rocks
On the old wounds of the earth.
sunshine
Light clots
Sits on the shoulder of the street,
Alley
The smell of smoke
Gunpowder smell
The smell of motherless hugs.
And yet
The olive blossom rotates
It rotates
It rotates
In blood circuit.
Peace Treaty
Fatemeh Rezanezad (Iran)
Translated by :
Khan Hasnain Aaqib (India)
In the creases of a mother's hands
Something grows
It is not a cry,
Neither a prayer
it is a branch
That from the burnt soil
Faces the sun
A father is that stone
In the rain,
Which waits for a bird
To redefine the direction of the wind.
Shadows pass over the walls
And a trumpet
breathes in the throat
Of the breeze.
Nothing is complete yet.
