Passing Time, Dream And Feeling in Laskiaf Amortegui's Poetry
Dr. Manoranjan Das
Laskiaf Amortegui, the modern poet of Colombia per excellence apprehends that 'passing time' lies in its irreversibility and its role as a fundamental measure of life, progress, and,
it is a precious and finite resource, prompting men to use it wisely for achievements, planning for the future, and reflecting on the past, and, from a psychological perspective, how men perceive and accept the passage of time can even affect our lifespan and sense of well-being.She has the indication of passing time, remembering past days where the moments are into without anguish.
Thus, he writes,
'The passing of time indicates that soon
I won't be here.
The children grow up, my dog and cat grow old, everything passes.
Loves bloom, others wither.
Tears dry at last, others are shred .
Time marches on without mercy, without control, without anguish.'
Martha Janet Torres Amortegui, pseudonym, Laskiaf Amortegui is a writer, poetess, speaker, author of the novel 'La Jaula De Las Mariposas,' a dramatic novel that tells the story of five women and their environment, is one of the best selling works of its kind on Amazon. When she comes to writing, she faces her biggest rival: her dystexia, but her mentor encouraged her to publish her lyrics, which have brought her international recognition, awards and prizes in poetry and narrative. Many her writings have been translated into other languages. At this point in her life, her family and her writing are her greatest loves.
Properly speaking Laskiaf Mortegui englows through poetry that time is a non-renewable resource; once a moment has passed, it can never be retrieved, and, it makes it more valuable than money, which can be earned again, and, therefore, the passing of time is central to the human experience, allowing men to plan for the future, remember the past, and measure personal growth and development. Thus, he quotes to his mind',
'The progression of time is what creates change and allows for events to unfold, from personal milestones to larger societal developments.
A positive or accepting attitude toward the passage of time and aging can be a stronger predictor of a longer life than factors like smoking or drinking.'2
Imploringly speaking, Laskiaf Amortrgui moderates her thought through poetry that men's perception of time is not always aligned with the clock; it can feel different depending on the context and emotions men are experiencing, and philosophers and physicists study time to understand its fundamental nature and its relationship to human consciousness. She entices in a way that she carries the memories eternally through moments where love returns to be unchecked, meanwhile. Thus, she writes,
'My memories of today wandered eternally,
Untill at last, on an uncertain morning;
no one through time
remembers me any more
And I'm lost in the memory of those who said, they loved me .
They will be chinks only chinks left by yesterday.
A yesterday that will never return.
Meanwhile, time runs unchecked, without marcy and without anguish.' 3
Notably speaking, Laskiaf Amortegui, entertains with her poetry that dreams help the brain process emotions, solidify memories, and boost creativity and problem-solving skills, and, by replaying and reframing experiences, dreams can help you cope with difficult feelings, store important information, and even generate new ideas or solutions to problems men to face in waking life. She entrusts through the kissing on soul, by glancing with caresses in dream into engravement of mind. Thus, she writes,
'Kisses are given with the soul.
The skin is not necessary.
Glances through the mirror,
Morpheusis an accomplice
Of your caresses in my dreams.
Laughter is thrown to the wind.
Moments are engraved in our minds.
Our hands are unknown.
They long to intertwine.'4
Endeavourously speaking, Laskiaf Amortegui bursts in her thought that dreams help to strengthen memories by transferring information from short-term to long-term storage, improving recall.
She perceives,
'The brain uses dreams to sort through the day's emotions, which can help make problems seem less daunting and provide emotional release.
During dreams, the brain can connect different pieces of knowledge and experience in novel ways, leading to creative insights and solutions to problems.'5
Happily speaking, Laskiaf Amortegui cares to follow that feelings guide behavior, influence perception and judgment, and are crucial for mental and physical health, and, they act as alert signals for what is important or wrong, foster creativity, and build relationships, and, therefore, properly understanding and managing feelings is essential for making choices aligned with one's values and goals. She jollifies that moments row to the feelings through happiness and it is consumed by passion basing on moments to be roomed others. Thus, she writes,
'Moments are hidden in the calendar.
Moments that do not exist for the world.
Feelings that
Are reasons for happiness for both of us.
Our gazes are
Consumed by passion.
Two hearts that
Are one bit, one life.
Moments of
Us where there is no room for the others.'6
Cheerfully speaking, Laskiaf Amortegui is glamoured to her thought that passing time, dreams and feelings are transformed to the life as natural wealth.
