Poem: A Quiet Roar, Poet - Damburudhara Behera

Poem: A Quiet Roar

My heart remains a hollow place,

For you — and none before.

Each corner hums with silent ache,

Missing you at its core.

I wait for signs you might still send,

To unlock love’s closed door.

I knock with hope, but always find

The window and door unsure —

Their silence, a quiet roar.

The breeze still stirs your whisper,

In moments soft and true,

But shadows fall much deeper

In the absence of you.
